Old Pic for the New Year
I am working on some old CX photos that I have not published before. As you can see, I've always had style. Thanks for reading. Here they are.

Yup, 86 Rockhopper. Real cx bikes were rare and hard to source at that time. Robin had Moots mounts, which were canti studs with bands to hold them on. Pain to install but they worked. Marro had studs brazed on to an old road frame. Helmet is a Bell Ovation. Devo. Shows that helmets have come a long way. That was actually the best fit I could find.
i know what Moots Mounts are. Installed a few when I worked in bike shops, even as late as the early '90s.
Curtis B's first bike or second bike (i don't remember) had moots mounts, a univega iirc.
My first CX bike was a rigid 26" Klein mt bike. Nothing wrong with starting with what you have.
